JUPITERMEDIA'S INTERNET.COM AND EARTHWEB.COM NETWORKS TEAM UP WITH SUN MICROSYSTEMS ON AN EXCLUSIVE MEDIA PARTNERSHIP

(New York, NY- September 22, 2004) -- Jupitermedia Corporation's (Nasdaq: JUPM) internet.com and EarthWeb.com Networks created an exclusive media partnership with Sun Microsystems to promote Sun's Network Computing Quarterly Systems release Webcast.

Sun achieved maximum exposure for its Webcast, which was held yesterday, by exclusively sponsoring a unique ad position featured on every page of internet.com and EarthWeb.com. The creative, called a "Thin Ribbon", is located at the very top of every page of the 105 sites within the internet.com and EarthWeb.com networks. Prior to this media partnership, the "Thin Ribbon" was used exclusively by Jupitermedia for promoting its events like Search Engine Strategies, JupiterResearch reports or offerings from JupiterImages' collection of digitized photographs and footage.

"Our JupiterWeb division, which includes the internet.com and EarthWeb networks, prides itself on developing innovative and effective media solutions for our clients. Sun Microsystems asked us for a creative and response-driven program to promote their Webcast to IT professionals. Sponsoring the 'Thin Ribbon' achieved both the ubiquity and creativity Sun was expecting from us as their media partner," stated Alan M. Meckler, Chairman and CEO of Jupitermedia.

"Bringing Java to the consumer market relies upon reaching early adopters and IT industry professionals whose grassroots enthusiasm will help broaden Java awareness," stated Ingrid Van Den Hoogen, VP, Brand Experience and Community Marketing at Sun Microsystems. "The 20 million unique Web visitors to Jupitermedia's network of sites, combined with premium 'Thin Ribbon' placement and compelling content, is helping us achieve Sun's goal of educating the market about Java's uses on the desktop, cell phone, automobile and more."
